Corrected Calendar! + Penguin Place

Good morning ladies,

When I sent out the calendar email at the beginning of the week, I was in a rush and sent it before making sure everything was correct. Oops! Below is the corrected calendar. I added the day of the week but the main change is to the Fall Social -I had the dates wrong on the previous email.

This week I have been working on die cutting, and scoring card stock for the cards that make up Card Express this month, but took a short break to get a head start on the thank you cards and team recognition cards that I will mail out at the beginning of September, since I know I will be crazy busy with my daughter's actual move to Oregon and getting things finalized for my All Things Rubber Rummage Sale.

Anyway I pulled out Penguin Place to use for the thank you cards and found that I had tucked the elements for the card I made for my team swap inside the stamp box, I put it together for you to see. I love the penguin but also the grey gingham side of the Peaceful Place dsp that I used for the tag and the laser cut Wonderful snowflakes which are iridescent on one side and flat white on the other.

This is the card I made for the team swap.

This little penguin is the thank you card I will mail out the first of September for everyone who orders from me during August.

I have a little something extra going inside these cards as an extra thank you for sticking with me during all the changes that Covid has challenged us with. I really appreciate your support of my little home business. Thank you!

So David and I went to meet Sam and Katie at their new home on Monday, it is beautiful with lovely views, but I had a wonderful surprise on the way. After I put their address into my navigation program, it turned out that their home is 3 miles to the east of I-5 at the same exit as my daughter is 2 miles to the west of. The same exit on the freeway! How great is that?

I was telling David a few weeks ago that exit was going to be my favorite exit on the freeway. Now it is even truer.

Now I head back into the workroom, the die cutting is all done, there are a few more scores to make then I will assemble a "copy me" card of each card for each person and package them up with the kits and get them ready to mail on Monday. I love putting these kits together for all of you.
