So about midnight last night, I got up to use the bathroom, and apparently my left foot was asleep and I fell, huge bruise now on the outside and top of my foot/ankle. Awake for hours while it swelled and hurt and my husband lay soundly sleeping next to me. I'm not asking for sympathy but while I was awake I started looking through my instagram feed and found something that excited me. I saw that someone had taken the lady bug punch,
some black and white striped designer paper (from the pattern party host rewards) vellum and Daffodil Delight and Basic Black Blends and created one of these little cuties.
Pretty cute huh? I thought wow what a great way to use the punch for something other than a lady bug- although I have been having so much fun playing with it creating ladybugs.
I paired them with the new hive embossing folder and the greeting is actually from the Sale a Bration set Special Moments.
A quick tip when you make these, when you punch out the body make sure that you line up the paper so that the part of the body that you color with the Daffodil Delight blend will be at the base of the head, so that when you add the tombow adhesive to the vellum wings the adhesive will not show through as much.
