Hello Stampers!

Today I want to share a card I made while thinking of the situation going on in the Ukraine.

Before I post the card though I wanted to let everyone know that I have cancelled my Bingo/Stamp camp this month. I have been having some issues with my headaches again as well as kidney issues, and I honestly just do not have the energy to host an event.

I will be prepping and sending out Card Express in the mail - but that will be it. 

The card below represents the colors and flower of the Ukraine. 

The card base is Daffodil Delight. I stamped the sunflower from Celebrating Sunflowers using Pacific Point ink on Shimmery White card stock and die cut it out using the coordinating dies, then using a water painter I drew some of the ink from the stamped image to color in the petals. I next die cut the detail sunflower out and off set it over the top of the stamped image. Finally adding some rhinestones from my stash to the center of the flower.

I also stamped the sunflower over the entire card front using Daffodil Delight ink (the versa mark I was going to use was just too subtle.)

The greeting comes from the new Waves of Inspiration bundle, as does the tag that it is stamped on.

I used the Daffodil light blend to color the white organdy ribbon. I really love this ribbon, as it is very easy to tie and being able to color it with the blends is a real plus.
