I am popping on here to share a card that I made a few days ago using the new Daffodil Daydream bundle. I love the stamp set, and purchased the dies to cut them out, but the other day I pulled out the pieces in the dies that make daffodils out of card stock(not stamped) and because the stem and leaves were long I opted to make it a slim line card which I think was the best idea ever!
to make this card I used a piece of the Daffodil Afternoon dsp (a sale a bration pick) I die cut all the flower pieces out in both So Saffron and Daffodil Delight card stock, the stem and leaves were die cut with Mossy Meadow and Vellum which I colored with Mossy Meadow light blend.
The greeting came from another Sale a bration pick -Special Moments and was stamped on a piece of vellum that I die cut using a die coming next month from Waves of the Ocean.
the final touch was wink of stella added to the daffodils. I love it!
One other quick share was something I made last week, I had so much fun making it, and then when I realized I had one more frame left over after Stamp Camp in January I decided I would put the frame to use with this project. The background paper is the flip side of the simple marbleous dsp that is a Sale a Bration pick. I used the Rainbow of Happiness set of dies, a heart die from Sweet Conversations and the Cloud
punch. After a cloudy day it is always nice to see a rainbow.
Beginning tomorrow I will begin a 10 day countdown to the end of Sale a Bration over on my blog, so you can see lots of fun ideas using what you already have or what might be on your list.
Today is my stitching day, so I am off to do that, out to lunch and then tonight opening night at my grand daughter's school play - I need to get flowers in between to give her tonight. Woo Hoo!
