Birthday card for my grandson Max

Good morning Stampers!

Being thankful today to all those who are currently serving, those who have served and those that are no longer with us. but who served this country with honor, and bravery.

Today I thought I would share with you the card I made to give my grandson Max on his 17th birthday. His birthday was earlier this month but we are finally going to be able to celebrate with him this next Saturday afternoon. (right after my tea party class) so he has not seen the card yet.

Max loves sports and plays lots of different ones, so rather than be specific on the card I just created a general sports looking card. The inside however has $$ for stick time which is time on the ice for hockey practice.

This card was fun to make -and it uses both new and retiring soon product.

Alphabest bundle - letters to create his name and letters for belly band on money.

A grand kid stamp set was used for the greetings (sorry the link is not working on this set- it can be found on page 51 of the new catalog.)

Split Card Textures dies were used to create the grid that everything is adhered to.

Charming Sentiments Bundle -inside greeting

I had lots of fun creating this card and I know he will love it, especially the cash inside.

Now I am off to take my grand daughter to see the new Downton Abbey movie
