Good morning Stampers!

Yesterday after my stitching group left for the day, I went into my workroom to get some more cards made to share with all of you!  

In preparation for being out of commission for awhile, I am going to schedule a few posts so you don't forget about me and hopefully keep you inspired.

This first card I actually saw on Pinterest from a demonstrator in Canada, and so I copied her layout, I did use a different greeting and I used a current die shape  to stamp the greeting on but otherwise it is almost entirely hers. I hope you like it.

The bundle for this card is called Darling Details, the colors used are Lemon Lolly and Basic White card stocks, Fresh Freesia, Calypso Coral, Granny Apple Green and Memento Black inks. The die for the greeting came from Stylish Shapes.

With the cost of colored card stock having gone up $1 per package I have decided one way to keep my prices from going up as well is that I would have all my card bases be either Basic White or Very Vanilla, with either a full front cover of colored card stock or a matte layer. This card for example looks like it will be Lemon Lolly when you open it but... see the white edge on the right? That is the inside of the card. Creating cards this way gives you the added benefit of when darker cardstock is used- not needing to add an additional layer inside.
