Today I have a fun card to share. If you have been on Pinterest at all in recent weeks you will likely have seen a card that is being called a trellis card. I decided I needed to play with the layout and the new die set called Paper Florist. I have had a lot of fun making flowers-

This is my first go at this kind of card, and I love it. There are lots of things I could tweak - from color combinations, added embossing etc. but I love it simple like this too. The flowers are really fun to make and super easy. I set up a organizer with lots of flower pieces in it to mix and match to use whenever I want. 

I highly recommend using either the Basic White or Very Vanilla Thick card stock when making this card so that it will have the stability to stand - in fact you may have noticed that I used the thick card stock for all my card bases now, using the regular for layers and die cutting.
