Good morning Stampers!
This weekend has been a busy one. I leave for Stampin'Up!'s Backstage event in Las Vegas on Thursday morning, for a few fun filled days gathering with other
leaders from around the world. I am looking forward to getting away, relaxing and visiting with friends that I have missed seeing for a long time.
So I have been getting ready with lots of stamping- for swaps that I am participating in- one with a Christmas theme and one with a Birthday theme. Just 10 of each so not too bad, I have also gotten a head start for
September Card Express in the mail and my quarterly Stamp Camp on September 9th.
I thought I would pop on here and share those with you before I head up to a goodbye brunch for Max as he leaves to join his hockey team in Bellingham. His first game will be in Seattle on the 9th (in the evening so I will have time to get there leaving right after camp).
Ok here are the cards... first up is the birthday swap,I thought it would be fun to make a card for a friend whose birthday is at the end of October, and have it not be a Halloween card but use the colors. Then the Christmas swap- for the background I used Blends and rubbing alcohol to create the swirls and I used holographic paper as a layer (looks more like a mirror in
person). This Card Express @home share was created using both sides of the same sheet of designer paper, and finally one of the cards for Stamp Camp, and here I used the pumpkins again- I love how easy they stamp and punch out.
