Good morning Stampers!

Lots of goings on these days. This past Saturday was my Christmas Card buffet and it was a lot of fun, Christmas music in the background and lots of cards being made- A total of 85 cards were made by 9 people stamping on Saturday. So much fun!

I will be planning future card buffets in the coming year so watch for those.

Wednesday was Card Express in Salem and a short term decision was made- there will be a change at least for December- and possibly through January and February -instead of stamping in the evening I have rescheduled to 1pm -still at Pietros and you can still get your favorite pizza while making cards and we will have daylight streaming in the windows. Let me know if you want to join in the daytime card express on Wednesday December 18th.

Since then I have made a fun card sample for you, finished a cross stitch I was working on an got myself a boot!

This is Byron the Blackbird. I absolutely love him. Stitched on 40ct linen

And although the injury is not new (I slipped while walking on the 4th of September) the Achilles tendonitis is getting worse. The boot, physical therapy and some exercises at home are now in my near future. I have a heel lift in my shoe for when I cannot wear the boot - like when I am driving since this is my right foot. 

Lucky for me one of my boys is hosting Thanksgiving and we will be taking things easy anyway after David's surgery on Monday.

Yesterday was David's and my wedding anniversary -48 years of laughter and smiles, heartache and joy. 

I hope all your holiday preparations are going well and that you have a lovely Thanksgiving if I don't happen to send anything out before then.
